Goods worth hundreds of thousands of pounds are missing after three lorry trailers were stolen in one night in Derby.
Police are investigating after thieves broke into a storage area in Litchurch Lane, Osmaston.
Inside they stole trailers containing fridges, freezers, washing machines, gym equipment, garden furniture and returned items from an online retailer.
They also took items from a fourth trailer in the incident, which took place sometime between 6pm on December 13 and 6am on December 14.
Police say they have only just released information about this as they have been trying to track the vehicles through other methods, but are now appealing for dashcam footage to help with their enquiries.
Detective Staff Investigator Katie Carter said: “Since this incident was reported to us on December 22, we have been following several lines of enquiry.
“We believe the trailers were driven along Sir Frank Whittle Road, Derby, and the A61 between the Pektron and Little Eaton roundabouts, at around 4am on December 14.
“Anyone who was travelling these routes at the time, with a dashcam installed, is asked to check their footage, as we believe this could have captured the trailers being moved.
