A male suspect was apprehended following the discovery of a stolen double-decker bus at a service station. The incident unfolded when Wiltshire Police came across a First bus originating from Bristol at Membury services along the M4 motorway, approximately at 10:00 am today.
Law enforcement officials disclosed that the driver, a man in his twenties, was taken into custody under suspicion of unauthorized vehicle use and operating a bus without the necessary license. He is currently being held by the police for further questioning, with the interrogation scheduled for later today (Wednesday 27th September).
First West of England has confirmed their cooperation with the authorities in their ongoing investigation.
