In the transport industry mostly with vehicle transportation and recovery we are all stuck with a huge issue, a mega loss of earnings due to platforms that obtain us leads adding insane commissions to jobs and in many cases this can be up to 30%! I don’t know about you but after 2 years of accepting this and our Company loosing in excess of £70k over the two years we decided a change was absolutely essential. We cannot continue to destroy the industry with bidding wars like eBay for a professional job!

Why we founded and what we do

Our aim when we built the website which was already planned 2 years previous was to simply change the structure of how obtaining work through platform online works, we designed a membership focused model.

Currently transporters pay a what we consider low fee of £10 per month membership, this is allows us to charge an extremely low job acceptance fee currently set at £8 per job accepted which the customer pays themselves and does not come off of quoted rates, on average this is saving £60-£120 per job for the customer, however transporters should be using this to make more money than they do elsewhere by adding a large sum of that on top of their average quotes.

The main issue is the cost of marketing to customers and bringing their leads into the system which currently can cost us up to £20k per month, as much as we want to help everyone we have to work together to allow us to continue growth and bringing leads into the platform, rather than our transporters being our product and revenue generators we wanted to operate a more fair system.

Growth

In the last month we have seen over 1600 transporters join our platform from not only the UK, Ireland but also various other countries, during the last 5 weeks we have also seen over 4000 new customers join our platform to obtain car delivery, some which regularly post their transport jobs and book via our website.

Over the coming weeks and months we are set to expand into countries across the globe, our main targets being Poland, Spain, France, Australia and Germany, in the next year we aim to target America however this is a costly venture.

Why we want to succeed

The truth is we come from a transport background and are unhappy with the situations and costs other platforms are charging, we find it greedy and their annual returns prove just as such. Building a community backed platform allows us to provide a much higher quality service and allows recovery drivers to come together as one united front, if we work together to grow and stop using the other platforms they will have no choice left but to either reduce their costs or they will continue to suffer massive revenue damage especially across the UK and Ireland.

We have been treated disgracefully for years, customers are happy to pay more than normal rates for their car transport and vehicle movements, however they are not the biggest issue – The platforms taking the huge sums are the problem!

We get it!

We understand, some people do not want to pay their way to obtain the work, loosing commissions is absolutely fine by them, but why? How can you continue each day knowing you could be loosing £200 per day from your jobs?! This is nearly two tanks of fuel per day! It is absolutely wrong that these platforms continue to drain and use us as cash cows for their own benefits whilst they do not care if your account is active or banned from the site at any point!

The only way to succeed and thrive together is to work together, we invite all transporters who can move Cars, Vans, caravans, trailers and even boats to come and join us as we grow! We understand the platform needs to continue to develop and improve – We are working on this daily.
