A motorist in Merseyside flagged down Roads Policing officers to tell them that his vehicle had no insurance, tax or MOT. And that he had no valid driving licence.
The officers were on patrol when the incident happened earlier this morning.
After speaking with the officers and confessing to the offences, the Vauxhall Corsa was seized.
A spokesperson for the unit tweeted to say:
‘We always say that honesty is the best policy.
‘So we were delighted when the driver of this Vauxhall Corsa flagged one of our motorway patrols down to tell the officer that he did not have tax, insurance, MOT or a licence.
‘Vehicle seized and driver reported’.
