Changes to the Highway Code 2022.

You now have to give way to pedestrians crossing or waiting to cross at a junction.

Cyclists will be encouraged to ride in the middle of the road to increase their visibility and reduce accidents.

Another important change.
You can no longer use your mobile phone whilst behind the wheel to take pictures, play games or scroll through play lists. You can use your sat nav as long as you’ve entered the details prior to starting your journey and the phone is in a cradle

If you are caught it’s 6 points and £200 fine or a day in court.
