Renault Trucks is in the process of building its first electric truck dedicated to the construction sector.

Plant hire specialist, the Noblet Group will take delivery of the first D Wide ZE fitted with a Jocquin tipper body and Hiab X HiPro 142-E crane. Fitted with four 66 kWh batteries, the electric truck will use its onboard power to operate the crane and tipping gear without CO2 emissions or noise.

Destined for operations in the Greater Paris region, the D Wide ZE is capable of taking a rapid charge of up to 150kW which will recharge the batteries in less than two hours.
