TWO drug couriers who smuggled a £6million cocaine haul into Scotland were working with Albanian hoods, sources claim.
Insiders told how David Murdoch, 56, met two Eastern Europeans a day before he was busted with Graham McCulloch, 39.

The van and a BMW following behind were later stopped by cops who tailed them from London to the A74(M) near Ecclefechan, Dumfriesshire.
An insider said of the bag drop in Kent: “Authorities are still working to identify the individuals but intelligence indicates they are Albanian.
“It appears whoever was running the show had forged links with foreign crime groups.”

The High Court in Glasgow heard McCulloch’s phone records detailed more than 20 drugs drop-offs and pick-ups.
Sources said the coke is thought to be linked to one of the city’s crime clans.
Murdoch, from Linwood, Renfrewshire, and McCulloch, of Airdrie, admitted supplying drugs connected to serious and organised crime between October 2019 and May 2020.
Sentence was deferred.
