In June 2022, law enforcement officers conducting road safety inspections under Operation Vertebrae intervened to prevent a truck from continuing its journey due to multiple safety violations.

The inspected HGV, as shown in the image, was discovered to be carrying an excessive load, exceeding weight limits by a staggering 15 tonnes. Additionally, the vehicle was found to have six defective tires, posing significant risks to road safety.

As a result of these serious infractions, the driver was formally reported for the offenses. Furthermore, authorities issued a prohibition notice, immobilizing the vehicle until a proper movement order could be obtained.
