M32 Bristol Diversions Implemented Due to Overturned Lorry Load Spill
In light of an incident involving an overturned lorry that resulted in a load spill on the M32 southbound carriageway, drivers are advised to adhere to the designated diversion route indicated by solid square symbols on road signs. The incident occurred near Hambrook, leading to the closure of the affected road section.
The lorry’s load of stone and sand scattered across the carriageway, accompanied by a fuel spillage, necessitating immediate action. National Highways has implemented a closure between M4 J19 and M32 J1. Additionally, the northbound lane three on the M32 between J1 and the M4 is also closed.
Closure affects the M4 J19 westbound exit slip road and entry slip from M4 westbound. A predefined diversion route has been established, with drivers strongly advised to follow the clear square diversion symbol displayed on road signs.
