A truck obstructed a key route and a private driveway for an extended period in a Suffolk village. Eyewitnesses noted the driver’s disregard for ‘road ahead closed’ signs on B1077 Aspall Road in Debenham. Subsequently, the lorry encountered difficulties attempting to maneuver within the driveway of Hilltop Barn. Rebecca Stone, the property owner, expressed frustration, stating, “This lorry remained stuck in our driveway for eight hours yesterday, causing damage.”
The incident unfolded amidst ongoing roadworks at the intersection of Bellwell Lane, addressing deterioration along the carriageway’s edge. The scheduled completion date for the roadworks is November 16.
