EFS Global, headquartered in Burnley, has significantly expanded its group’s turnover by over £30 million through the strategic acquisition of a substantial cluster of companies, including YDL, Leeds Parcel Company, and Pass the Parcel.
Operating across five locations in North and West Yorkshire, this acquisition marks the largest in EFS Global’s history, with legal counsel provided by Davis Blank Furniss.
The newly acquired companies specialize in pallet and parcel distribution services, enhancing EFS Global’s footprint in the region. This transaction brings the total number of trading companies under the EFS Global umbrella to 26, with 40 premises spanning England and Scotland. Since 2015, the company has pursued a growth strategy, culminating in this latest milestone.
In line with their established approach, EFS Global intends to maintain ‘business as usual,’ leveraging the strengths of the newly acquired entities. The company plans to capitalize on existing accomplishments while benefiting from the wealth of experience and knowledge offered by the senior management team of the acquired groups.
