Unfortunately, this type of incident still occurs far to frequently.
Failure to apply the vehicle handbrake during the trailer coupling procedure can result in a roll away.
Normal instinct is to jump free and to try to gain access to the cab to apply the handbrake. The correct action would be to disengage the airline.
